MOIL's Manganese Milestone: Production and Sales Surge in Current Fiscal
State-owned MOIL reported a 4.5% increase in manganese ore production, reaching 13.3 lakh tonnes from April to December in the current fiscal year. Sales also rose by 4% to 11.39 lakh tonnes. The company anticipates continued growth, supported by a 19% hike in exploratory core drilling.

State-owned MOIL has reported a notable increase in manganese ore production and sales for the current fiscal year. According to a government statement released on Friday, production rose by 4.5% to 13.3 lakh tonnes during the April-December period, compared to the previous year.
Similarly, sales of manganese ore also witnessed a growth, increasing by 4% to 11.39 lakh tonnes in the same time frame. The company's CMD, Ajit Kumar Saxena, expressed optimism about sustaining this growth trajectory.
MOIL's exploratory core drilling rose 19% to 72,340 meters, highlighting its commitment to expansion and innovation. The firm operates several mines in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, supplying various grades of manganese ore for diverse industrial applications.
