Delta Air Lines emerged as the leading US carrier despite substantial setbacks earlier in the year when a tech outage grounded thousands of flights. Cirium's data highlighted the adaptability and efficiency airlines demonstrated during severe weather and tech challenges.

Saudia secured the second position globally, while Japan Airlines, Iberia Express, and FlySafair were also notable regional performers. King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was named the best for on-time departures, a testament to operational efficiency in an unpredictable year.
