Mumbai is set to enhance its transportation network for New Year celebrations, with BEST, Western Railway, and Central Railway offering additional services past midnight. This move aims to ensure the safe and convenient travel of revelers.

Western Railway will run eight services between Churchgate and Virar, with four each on either direction. Central Railway will operate four trains on its main and Harbour lines, all departing at 1:30 am.

To further ease mobility, BEST is deploying 25 extra buses, serving key areas like the Gateway of India where celebratory crowds gather. These overnight bus services will function from 10 pm to 3 am, catering to the late-night commuters.
