Unraveling the Mystery: Embraer's Kazakhstan Crash Investigation
A Brazilian-made Embraer plane crash in Kazakhstan is under thorough investigation. The flight data records are being analyzed in Brazil, with Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan monitoring the process. This crash tragically killed 38 people, amidst military tensions involving Russian air defenses and Ukrainian drones.
Flight records from the Embraer plane that crashed in Kazakhstan last week are on their way to Brazil for data extraction, the Brazilian Air Force confirmed on Monday. Data from both the cockpit voice and flight data recorders will undergo processing in Brasilia, overseen by Brazilian aeronautical investigators.
The investigative process is being closely monitored by representatives from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan. Once processed, the data will be forwarded to investigators in Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan has paid homage to the 38 victims of the crash, which included both passengers and crew members of the Azerbaijan Airlines.
The crash occurred last Wednesday near Aktau City in Kazakhstan, following a diversion from southern Russia, where Ukrainian drone attacks were reported. In response, Russian air defenses were activated, eventually leading to this tragic event.
