Former Infosys CFO T V Mohandas Pai raised concerns over Indigo Airlines' passenger treatment on a recent flight, specifically related to insufficient air conditioning. Pai shared his experience on social media, describing discomfort aboard flight 6E 7407 in Bengaluru due to the lack of air conditioning while on the tarmac.

Responding to the criticism, Indigo Airlines explained that the air conditioning system of the ATR model aircraft involved operates only in-flight, as it depends on engine-driven hydraulic pressure and propeller action, unavailable while parked. Despite the limitations, a tarmac generator was eventually used to address the issue after passengers' protests.

In response to Pai's complaints, Indigo promised to relay his feedback to the relevant team, emphasizing its dedication to passenger comfort. The airline expressed gratitude for the feedback and assured an examination of its protocols to prevent similar issues.
