Rail traffic in the Shahjahanpur-Sarsawa section of Uttar Pradesh faced a temporary halt of approximately 30 minutes when a crucial pandrol clip went missing, officials reported on Friday.
The discovery was made by a lineman on Thursday, leading to swift action by Railway Protection Force officers who rushed to address the issue.
The missing pandrol clip was eventually found near pillar No. 199, allowing rail services to resume. Authorities have registered a case to probe whether the incident was an act of sabotage or simply mischief, according to Mandeep Singh, Divisional Railway Manager of Ambala division.
