A recent report by global job site Indeed emphasizes the significant role of recognition from senior leaders and a culture of openness in shaping a positive workplace environment. According to the study, 63 percent of employees value acknowledgment from leadership, which they believe is crucial for morale and satisfaction.
The findings reveal that 62 percent of employees are happier when their efforts are appreciated, while 58 percent stress the importance of having their opinions welcomed. Such validation and inclusion build confidence and foster a collaborative work atmosphere, enabling employees to succeed.
Indeed India Head of Sales, Sashi Kumar, noted that companies prioritizing recognition and inclusion are likely to attract and retain motivated talent, as these factors are essential for both employee well-being and business success.
