Data from the Commerce Ministry indicates a surge in India's exports to the US, rising to $39.2 billion this October from $21.46 billion in the same month of 2015. Indian exports to America saw a compound annual growth rate of 10.48%, while US global imports grew by 4.76% between 2001 and 2023.
Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal emphasized the growing economic integration between the two nations and bipartisan support for this collaboration. Despite potential hurdles from policy shifts, such as high tariffs or stricter H-1B visa rules, the trade relationship remains resilient and robust.
