Uflex Ltd, noted for its packaging materials and solutions, has reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 64.58 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2024. This loss contrasts with a net profit of Rs 63.31 crore in the same quarter last year, as revealed in a regulatory filing.

Despite the loss, Uflex's revenue rose by 14.66% to Rs 3,781.03 crore. The company's total expenses increased by 15.60%, while total income grew by 13.68% from the previous year. Sales volume for packaging films rose by 14.6%, yet flexible packaging saw a slight decline in sales by 0.7%.

Looking forward, Uflex plans to expand its Sanand facility and other global operations, aiming to boost revenue and profitability in fiscal year 2025. The company remains a key player in the global flexible packaging sector, with operations spanning across multiple countries including India and the USA.
