AstraZeneca Pharma Reports 27% Profit Decline in Q2

AstraZeneca Pharma India reported a significant 27% decrease in net profit for the second quarter ending on September 30, 2024. The net profit amounted to Rs 38 crore, a steep decline from Rs 52 crore in the same period the previous year.
Despite the downturn in profit, the company's revenue from operations experienced an uptick, reaching Rs 408 crore, compared to Rs 311 crore in the corresponding timeframe last year, according to a regulatory filing by the firm.
Consequently, shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India fell by 3.74%, closing at Rs 7,133.10 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
