Singapore's tourism sector has made a triumphant recovery, with Indian visitor numbers surpassing the one million mark by October 2024, two months earlier than in the previous year, as reported by Singapore's tourism body on Wednesday.
This significant achievement occurred when Singapore Airlines flight SQ-421 from Mumbai landed at Changi Airport on October 31, marking the arrival of Singapore's millionth Indian visitor for the year, according to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
India remains a vital market for Singapore, reflected by a 12% increase in Indian visitors from January to October 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, solidifying its position as Singapore's third-largest source market for tourism.
