The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) delegation embarked on an insightful tour of India's pioneering RRTS corridor on Monday. Connecting Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut, the project was presented in detail to the team, highlighting the innovative and groundbreaking technologies employed.

Accompanied by the Department of Economic Affairs and Ministry of Finance, the AIIB officials observed firsthand the advancements and commuter-centric features of the Namo Bharat trains along the route from Sahibabad to Duhai RRTS station. The successful adoption of ETCS-2 signaling over an LTE backbone was among the highlighted technological achievements.

As a major financial partner, the AIIB, with a USD 500 million loan through the Asian Development Bank, plays a critical role in the corridor's development. The visiting delegation commended the efforts of the NCRTC team in achieving significant milestones in the project.
