In a significant move towards industrial growth, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha unveiled the Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme, commonly known as UNNATI-24, aimed specifically at the northeastern region. Launched with an anticipated investment of Rs 10,037 crore, the initiative is projected to create 83,000 jobs over the course of ten years.
During the workshop on UNNATI-24 at Prajna Bhavan in Agartala, Chief Minister Saha highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's emphasis on northeastern economic progress, linking it to the broader prosperity of India.
