Amul Expands: European Breakthrough for Iconic Dairy Brand

Amul, the well-known Indian dairy brand, is preparing to enter the European market by the end of this month, according to GCMMF Managing Director Jayen S Mehta.
The company's initial launch will occur in Spain, with plans for expansion throughout Europe. This move follows Amul's recent foray into the US market, targeting the Indian diaspora and Asian populations.
Despite facing non-tariff barriers in other countries, Amul remains optimistic about increasing exports. The brand is owned by 36 lakh farmers and boasts a turnover of Rs 80,000 crore, solidifying its status as a global dairy leader.
