Balrampur Chini Mills' Profits Plummet Amid Declining Income
Balrampur Chini Mills reported a significant 60% drop in consolidated net profit for FY25's September quarter, totaling Rs 67.17 crore compared to Rs 166.25 crore the previous year. Despite a notable 17.35% decrease in net income, the company's total expenses fell by 8.43%.

In a challenging financial update, Balrampur Chini Mills, one of India's leading sugar companies, reported a sharp decline in earnings for the September quarter of FY25. The consolidated net profit plummeted by 60%, settling at Rs 67.17 crore, starkly lower than Rs 166.25 crore the previous year.
The company's net income has faced a significant drop of 17.35%, down to Rs 1,362.83 crore. However, there was a reduction in total expenses by 8.43% during the same period, reaching Rs 1,312.08 crore, as per the latest regulatory filing.
Operating ten manufacturing units with a daily cane crushing capacity of 80,000 tonnes, Balrampur Chini Mills remains a major player in Uttarakhand's sugar production scene, despite the challenging financial landscape.
