Jubilant Foodworks Ltd on Monday disclosed its second-quarter results for 2024, revealing a consolidated net profit of Rs 66.53 crore. This reflects a drop from the Rs 97.2 crore net profit reported during the same period last year.

The company, known for its fast-food franchises like Domino's Pizza and Dunkin', witnessed a significant rise in revenue from operations to Rs 1,954.72 crore, compared to Rs 1,368.63 crore in the previous fiscal period. This increase is attributed to an expansion of 139 stores across various brands and markets, bringing their network to 3,130 stores.

Despite the revenue growth, total expenses for the second quarter climbed to Rs 1,895.67 crore. Notably, the inclusion of financial results from the recent acquisition of a controlling stake in DP Eurasia N.V., through its subsidiary Jubilant Foodworks Netherlands B.V., influenced the comparability of financial performance with previous periods.
