An apple-laden truck crashed into a bus carrying pilgrims from Maharashtra, injuring 38 passengers, according to police reports.

The incident happened around 1 am on a road in Uttar Pradesh, where the bus had been parked as the driver stepped out for tea. The truck driver fled the scene.

Local authorities swiftly dispatched emergency services to transport the injured to a nearby health center, with nine requiring further treatment at Sultanpur District Medical College. Police confirmed that the truck has been seized as investigations continue.
