Lula Cleared for Travel After Health Scare
Brazil's President Lula da Silva has been cleared to travel after a medical exam showed improvement following a head injury that resulted in a minor brain hemorrhage. He had previously canceled several international trips on medical advice.
Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has received the all-clear to travel following a medical exam that confirmed improvements in his condition after a head injury last month. The Hospital Sirio-Libanes released a statement on Sunday detailing his recovery.
The injury resulted in a minor brain hemorrhage, but Lula has remained stable since. Due to medical advice, the president had to cancel multiple international engagements, such as the BRICS summit in Russia and the United Nations summits COP16 in Colombia and COP29 in Azerbaijan.
His medical team has now granted him permission to resume his travel commitments, marking a positive turn in his recovery.
