Epigral Ltd, an integrated chemical manufacturer, has announced a substantial rise in its quarterly profits, reporting Rs 81 crore for the September quarter.

This marks more than a two-fold increase compared to the Rs 38 crore profit in the same period last year. The company's revenue also climbed by 32%, reaching Rs 632 crore from Rs 479 crore.

Growth in sales volume by 6% year-on-year was fuelled by derivatives and specialty business, with capacity utilization at 83%. Despite realization drops in most products, notable capacity expansions are planned for their Dahej plant.
