Kolkata Metro Introduces Special Trains for Kali Puja Night
Kolkata Metro will operate eight special trains on the Dakshineswar-New Garia Blue Line route to facilitate the visit of devotees to Dakshineswar and Kalighat temples on Kali Puja night, October 31. These trains will run between 9.40 pm and 11 pm, with four trains in each direction.

In a move to facilitate the ease of travel for devotees on Kali Puja night, Kolkata Metro announced the operation of eight special trains on the Dakshineswar-New Garia Blue Line route.
The services, scheduled between 9.40 pm and 11 pm on October 31, aim to accommodate visitors to the iconic Dakshineswar and Kalighat temples.
Officials stated that trains will run at 20-minute intervals, providing four trips in each direction. Meanwhile, regular services on the Metro's other lines will see a temporary reduction on the same day.
