Festive Surge: Record Sales Boost India's Auto Giants
Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors report record retail sales during October's festive season, expecting deliveries to peak on Dhanteras. In a festive period characterized by soaring demand, Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors anticipate record-breaking retail sales for October.
Both companies are preparing for significant deliveries on Dhanteras. Maruti Suzuki has already achieved around 30,000 unit deliveries on Tuesday and projects another 10,000 by tomorrow, as senior executive Partho Banerjee confirmed to PTI.
Meanwhile, Tata Motors' MD Shailesh Chandra noted a 30% increase in registrations from last year, with expectations for record high total registrations this October. Further contributing to the sector's boom, luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz and Audi have also reported increased sales during the festive season.
