The chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Ravi Agrawal, called on Income-Tax Department officials to advance a more responsive and fair administration on Tuesday. In his Diwali greetings to the department, Agrawal highlighted the guiding principles of perseverance, integrity, and wisdom, suggesting these values should lead to significant improvements in compliance and transparency.
