Rane Brake Lining Ltd, known for manufacturing brake linings and disc pads, has reported a robust 15.3% increase in its profit after tax for the July-September quarter of 2024, amounting to Rs 11.1 crore, compared to Rs 9.6 crore during the same period last year.
In the half year ending September 30, 2024, profits surged by 34.9% to Rs 19.9 crore, a significant leap from Rs 14.8 crore a year ago. The company's total revenues during the reviewed quarter rose by 10.7% to Rs 175.1 crore, a notable increase from last year's Rs 158.2 crore.
The sales to original equipment manufacturers climbed 7% due to rising demand in the passenger vehicle and rail sectors, while aftermarket sales jumped by 11%. Export sales saw a remarkable 35% growth, driven by substantial orders from the USA and other regions.
