DPIIT and HCLSoftware Unite to Elevate Indian Manufacturing Startups

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has unveiled a significant partnership with HCLSoftware, aimed at energizing India's nascent manufacturing startup ecosystem.
This collaboration seeks to catalyze an environment where corporates become the backbone for nurturing manufacturing startups, integral to India's Startup India initiative. To date, DPIIT has executed over 80 agreements with various industry players.
Key aims of the initiative include promoting innovation, developing proprietary products, and enhancing product quality. The DPIIT Joint Secretary expressed optimism about fostering a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem, highlighting the global market exposure and cutting-edge technologies that Indian startups will gain access to.
