Bikaji Foods International Ltd has announced a significant 14.72% increase in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024, aided by a surge in demand for snacks and packaged sweets during the festive season.
The company, a major player in the Indian snacks market, saw its revenue jump by 18.48% to Rs 721.17 crore, compared to Rs 608.68 crore a year earlier. This rise was driven by a 15% increase in volume growth, according to their earnings report.
Despite an increase in total expenses by 17.9%, reaching Rs 636.03 crore, Managing Director Deepak Agarwal attributed the company's success to the festive season's impact, with significant gains in both revenue and profit margins.
