Coca-Cola's sales volumes in India faced a downturn in the July-September quarter, attributed to heavy monsoons affecting several states, according to an announcement made on Wednesday.
However, states with normal rainfall experienced mid-single-digit growth, as mentioned by Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincey in a recent earnings call.
Despite the challenges, Quincey remains optimistic, viewing the impact as temporary, expecting a return to growth in the next year, as high monsoon yields could boost agricultural output.
