Bomb Threats Disrupt Indian Airlines: A Growing Concern

On Monday night, as many as 30 flights operated by Indian airlines received bomb threats, sources reveal. Affected carriers, including IndiGo, Vistara, and Air India, promptly initiated security protocols.
IndiGo reported alerts on four specific flights, ensuring all passengers disembarked safely. Both Air India and Vistara confirmed similar threats, addressing them in strict adherence to security regulations.
Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu emphasized the seriousness of even hoax threats. Consequently, the government is exploring legislative measures, such as amending aviation security laws to address and deter such incidents effectively.
