Mammoth Beluga XL Lands Again at Kolkata Airport
The Beluga XL aircraft, the world’s largest cargo plane, made its second landing at Kolkata's NSCBI Airport. The stopover was for crew rest, FDTL, and refueling as it's a key airport equipped to handle the aircraft. It was initially scheduled to depart to Bahrain after its stop.

The colossal Beluga XL aircraft, renowned as the world's largest cargo plane, touched down for its second visit at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport this week.
An official confirmed that the aircraft, originating from Tianjin Binhai International Airport in China, arrived at 5.47 am on Monday. The stop in Kolkata served as a rest period for crew members and facilitated refueling operations due to Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL).
Scheduled for departure at 3.30 pm on Tuesday, the Beluga XL will continue its journey to Bahrain International Airport. Highlighting Kolkata's capacity to accommodate such enormous aircraft, the airport is Eastern India's sole destination capable of managing the logistics of the Beluga XL.
