Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), has highlighted exports as a fundamental pillar for India's goal of becoming a USD 5 trillion economy. Speaking at a recent USISPF event, he pinpointed export growth as essential for job creation.

Aghi emphasized that as India progresses economically, creating 1.2 million jobs per month is crucial to stave off potential social unrest among the youth. He urged a strengthening of US-India economic ties, aiming for bilateral trade to surge to USD 500 billion.

He noted that 5 million Indian Americans contribute significantly to the US economy, showcasing the profound interconnection between the two nations on multiple fronts. Aghi also acknowledged challenges but praised both governments for facilitating smoother business operations over the past decade.
