The Southern Railway aims to restore the main lines by early morning on October 13, closely working with various agencies to address the incident.

Over 500 personnel, including the NDRF and state services, are engaged in the rescue and recovery operations, assisted by heavy machinery and specialized trains equipped for emergencies.
