Tragedy Strikes Dhubri: Four Children Killed in SUV Accident

In a tragic incident in Assam's Dhubri district, four children were mowed down by a speeding SUV on Friday morning, authorities have confirmed.
The children, identified as Mariyam Khatoon, Jouai Rahman, Abu Raihan, and Mehedi Husein, were struck by the vehicle while walking near their home close to National Highway 17 in Golakganj.
Dhubri Superintendent of Police Navin Singh informed PTI that the driver of the SUV has been apprehended, with three children dying at the scene and the fourth succumbing to injuries en route to the hospital.
