Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd revealed its acquisition of the global pigment business operations of Germany's Heubach Group for Euro 127.5 million on Friday.
The definitive agreement, signed on October 11, 2024, allows Sudarshan Europe BV, a subsidiary in the Netherlands, to take over Heubach's pigment business, as stated in their regulatory filing. Heubach is known for its expertise in organic and inorganic pigments, dyes, and dispersions.
The transaction, valued at approximately Rs 1,180 crore, includes acquiring assets and operations of multiple Heubach entities and aims to expand Sudarshan's market reach and asset portfolio across 19 global sites. The deal is subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, anticipated to finalize within three to four months.
