JSW Green Mobility Spearheads Electric Revolution
Vehicle manufacturer JSW Green Mobility has acquired 636 acres in Bidkin node, AURIC City to establish an electric car and commercial vehicle plant. Aimed to launch in 12-18 months, this Rs 27,200 crore investment promotes job creation, ensuring 5,000 direct and 15,000 indirect employment opportunities.
In a significant development for the automotive industry, JSW Green Mobility has secured 636 acres of land in the Bidkin node of AURIC City. The company plans to commence production within the next 12 to 18 months, according to official statements.
The Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) facilitated the online issuance of the land allotment certificate. The land, allotted for establishing an electric car and commercial vehicle manufacturing unit, signifies a pivotal step towards sustainable mobility.
JSW Green Mobility's investment of Rs 27,200 crore is expected to generate 5,000 direct and 15,000 indirect jobs. This boost in employment aligns with the company's commitment to advancing green technology in the automotive sector, as highlighted in their recent press release.
