In a pioneering move, Vedanta Aluminium has announced its achievement as the first Indian smelter to digitally integrate its metal quality analysis system with the London Metal Exchange (LME). This makes Vedanta only the fifth primary aluminium producer worldwide to establish a direct connection with the LME Passport platform.
This integration is part of Vedanta's strategy to streamline its entire metal supply chain, from production to delivery, enhancing efficiency and ensuring high standards of metal quality assurance. The decision underscores Vedanta's commitment to leveraging advanced digital technologies.
