The Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) is poised to host its inaugural symposium on October 15 and 16, focusing on the theme 'Quality & Innovation to Make India Globally Competitive'. The event will see participation from notable figures such as Hon'ble Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal and key industry leaders including Venu Srinivasan and N. Chandrasekaran.
Scheduled at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, the symposium aims to engage a cross-section of stakeholders in dialogues on quality and innovation practices that are crucial for India's economic growth. This 'by invite' event will witness participation from nearly 200 CEOs and CXOs, alongside MSME leaders and academia representatives.
Global experts like Dr. Noriaki Kano will lead deliberations, emphasizing the need for industry-led transformation rooted in cooperative trust and mutual growth. The symposium will feature 17 sessions with over 40 speakers, addressing pressing questions about standards, innovation deployment, and future milestones for Indian industry growth.
