Ratan Tata, the illustrious industrialist, is being bid farewell, with his mortal remains transported from Mumbai's National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) to Worli for the final rites.

At the NCPA, where the body was kept from 10.30 am to 3.55 pm, thousands gathered to pay their respects to the visionary leader who shaped the Tata Group into a global powerhouse.

Tata, who passed away at 86 years old on Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital, leaves behind a legacy of excellence and innovation.
