An alert train driver played a pivotal role in averting a potential accident near Gwalior when he spotted an iron frame on the railway tracks. The dangerous obstruction was discovered as the goods train was en route to Uttar Pradesh.
Authorities quickly responded to the incident after the Government Railway Police (GRP) received a report at approximately 4.30 am on Tuesday morning. The frame, located near Birla Nagar station, posed a serious threat to safe railway operations, prompting an immediate response from GRP, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and Railway officials.
The Railway Police have registered a case against an unidentified suspect under the Railways Act, as investigations continue to uncover the motive behind this reckless act. The vigilance and quick thinking of the train driver helped prevent what could have been a disastrous event.
