DFS, the air traffic control company, reported that the problem affected flight plans and weather data but was resolved by 10:30 am. Despite the resolution, significant delays were experienced nationwide.
Frankfurt Airport cautioned that travelers might face delays and cancellations throughout the day. Operator Fraport confirmed around 70 flight cancellations, though further disruptions were minimized. Lufthansa reported minimal impact on long-haul services.
