BMW Group India Achieves Record Sales in 2024
BMW Group India reported a 10% increase in sales for the BMW and MINI brands, achieving a record 10,556 units sold in the first nine months of 2024. The company also delivered 5,638 Motorrad motorcycles, and saw strong demand for long wheelbase models and electric vehicles.

BMW Group India has set a new benchmark with a sharp 10% rise in sales for its BMW and MINI brands, selling a total of 10,556 units from January through September 2024. This surpasses the 9,580 units sold during the same period in 2023, marking a new sales record for the luxury carmaker in India.
The company also saw significant success in its motorcycle division, selling 5,638 units under its Motorrad brand. BMW's strategic focus on customer experience and broadening its product portfolio with long wheelbase and electric vehicles has been pivotal in achieving these results, said Vikram Pawah, President and CEO, BMW Group India.
Key models such as the BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase, the BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, and the BMW X1 have performed exceptionally well. Additionally, BMW Group India continues to thrive in the electric vehicle sector, delivering 725 fully electric cars to date in 2024.
