In a bid to enhance its footprint in the electric vehicle sector, TI Clean Mobility, the brand behind Montra Electric, is gearing up to unveil two new products. The company, an integral part of the Murugappa Group, is positioning itself for robust expansion by doubling its branch network in the ongoing financial year.

Presently, Montra Electric offers the eAuto, a passenger 3-wheeler, and soon plans to introduce a cargo version alongside an L3 e-rickshaw, designed for a 25 kmph speed limit, according to COO Anurag Vohra. The company has achieved sales of 6,000 units of the eAuto since its market entry.

Alongside product expansion, TI Clean Mobility aims for a pan-India dealership reach, from the current 80 in 65 cities to 150-200 across 150 cities, by year's end. This expansion supports both customers and dealers, says Vohra. Efforts are also underway to innovate faster-charging batteries for their vehicles, potentially allowing a full charge within 15-20 minutes. The initiatives coincide with the Montra Electric Super League event, celebrating achievements and community engagement.
