The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) unveiled the Namo Bharat national common mobility cards (NCMC) on Thursday. These cards, developed in partnership with Airtel Payments Bank, promise seamless connectivity by integrating the RRTS and other public transport systems, according to an official statement.

NCRTC Managing Director Shalabh Goel expressed that the Namo Bharat NCMC initiative is a substantial advancement towards achieving seamless travel across the region. The cards allow commuters to efficiently manage their journeys across the first RRTS and other public transit networks while handling utility and retail transactions.

Exclusively issued by Airtel Payments Bank, these cards are equipped with cutting-edge tap-and-pay technology for swift transactions. They are available at all RRTS stations and through the Airtel Thanks application, simplifying travel nationwide by eliminating the need for multiple tickets across diverse modes of transport.
