Suzuki Motorcycle India has reported a modest gain in its September sales, achieving a 1% upsurge to 99,185 units sold. Despite a slight dip in domestic sales compared to last year, the company saw a remarkable 55% rise in exports, reaching 21,922 units.
The first half of the fiscal year showcased a strong 16% growth in the domestic market for the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, fueled by robust consumer demand. This positive trend positions them confidently as they approach the second half of the year combined with the festive season.
Executive Vice President for Sales, Marketing, and After-sales, Devashish Handa, expressed optimism about meeting the evolving needs of their customers efficiently amid the festive period, forecasting continued success in the coming months.
