The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has partnered with Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Ltd to launch a startup incubator in Gujarat, marking a significant step forward in supporting manufacturing-focused startups.
The collaboration is designed to enhance innovation within India's manufacturing sector, aligning with the national 'Make in India' initiative. The incubator will offer mentorship, project development guidance, and financial support to startups aiming at sustainability and energy efficiency improvements.
Leadership from both DPIIT and Johnson Controls-Hitachi emphasized the incubator's role in driving technological advancements and nurturing a pipeline of innovative projects, thereby supporting India's vision of 'design in India, design for the world.'
