Bangalore Metro Service Interruption for Safety Inspection

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced a partial curtailment of services on the Green line on October 3. This is to facilitate a statutory safety inspection for a newly constructed extension from Nagasandra to Madavara. Services will be disrupted between Nagasandra and Peenya Industry stations from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced service interruptions on the Green line on October 3 to accommodate a statutory safety inspection. The inspection, conducted by the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety (Southern Circle), will focus on the new extension between Nagasandra and Madavara stations.

From 10 am to 2 pm on October 3, there will be no train services operating between Nagasandra and Peenya Industry Metro stations. This temporary service change is necessary to ensure the safe operation of the new line.

According to BMRCL, trains will continue running between Peenya Industry and Silk Institute Metro Stations during this period. The last train leaving Silk Institute for Nagasandra will depart at 9 am before the safety inspection hours. There will be no changes to the Purple Line operations.
