TVS Motor Company's Sales Surge in September
TVS Motor Company experienced a notable 20% increase in sales this September, retailing 4,82,495 units. Electric vehicle sales surged by 42%, and two-wheeler sales grew by 22%. TVS Motor Company, a leading player in the two and three-wheeler market, announced a 20% rise in sales for September, retailing a total of 4,82,495 units. This marks a significant increase from the 4,02,553 units sold during the same month last year.
The company also saw a 42% surge in electric vehicle sales, selling 28,901 units compared to 20,356 in September of last year. Overall, two-wheeler sales recorded a 22% growth, reaching 4,71,792 units, up from 3,86,955 units in September 2023. Notably, domestic market two-wheeler sales grew by 23% to 3,69,138 units.
Motorcycle sales increased by 23% to 2,29,268 units, and scooter sales grew by 20% to 1,86,751 units. However, three-wheeler sales declined to 10,703 units from 15,598 units. On the export front, the company recorded an 11% growth, shipping 1,11,007 units. Quarterly growth for July-September 2024 stood at 15%, with total sales reaching 11.90 lakh units.
