A tragic bus accident in Punjab's Batala area has led to the deaths of three individuals and left over 15 passengers injured, police reported.
The incident occurred near Shahbad village on the Batala-Qadian road when the bus driver made a sharp turn to avoid colliding with a two-wheeler, according to police.
Police confirmed three deaths and stated that six individuals with critical injuries have been transferred to a hospital in Amritsar. An additional ten to twelve passengers suffered minor injuries. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that he is in contact with the administration and that officers are on the scene.
