New Delhi, September 30: India stands on the cusp of a digital revolution, spearheaded by the government's progressive broadband initiatives. The 2nd Broadband India Summit 2024, hosted at The LaLiT, New Delhi, underscored the nation's ambition to achieve comprehensive internet connectivity.

Prime Minister's vision of 'Connectivity to all,' has catalyzed a significant digital transformation. The summit convened industry experts, policymakers, and business leaders to explore trends and opportunities in fiber-optic broadband and 5G networks. Shashi Dharan, MD of Bharat Exhibitions, inaugurated the event, emphasizing broadband's role in transforming sectors ranging from education to disaster management.

Highlights included discussions on hybrid network usage, digital inclusivity, and rural internet access. T. V. Ramachandran, President of Broadband India Forum, and other key speakers stressed the economic benefits and societal impacts of enhanced broadband infrastructure.
