Maihar Bus Tragedy: Nine Dead, 20 Injured in Horrific Collision

A tragic bus accident in Madhya Pradesh's Maihar district has raised the death toll to nine, with three more individuals succumbing to their injuries, authorities reported on Sunday.
Seven of the deceased were from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 20 others sustained injuries when a private bus collided with a stationary truck around 11 pm on Saturday, according to police statements.
National Highway 30, 25 km from the district headquarters, was the site of this disaster. The bus, originating from Prayagraj with approximately 45 passengers, was en route to Nagpur via Rewa when it crashed near the Nadan Dehat police station, informed Maihar Superintendent of Police, Sudhir Agrawal.
