On World Tourism Day, the Ministry of Tourism unveiled the Incredible India Content Hub as part of its overhauled Incredible India digital portal. This platform is expected to revolutionize how international stakeholders access and share Indian tourism resources, according to the Ministry.

With a repository of over 5,000 high-quality images, films, brochures, and newsletters, the Content Hub serves a wide audience, including tour operators, journalists, students, researchers, filmmakers, influencers, government officials, and content creators. This launch aligns with India's aim of leveraging digital platforms to showcase its rich cultural heritage. The hub intends to simplify access to tourism resources, aiding global travel trade professionals and media in promoting India.

Integrated into the new Incredible India portal, the Content Hub provides comprehensive resources in one place for tour operators and travel agents to enhance their promotional campaigns. Currently, the hub hosts around 5,000 assets, developed collaboratively by the Ministry of Tourism, the Archaeological Survey of India, and the Ministry of Culture.

The upgraded digital portal offers extensive information to improve the travel experience in India. It features crucial travel data, from discovery and planning to booking. The portal covers destinations, attractions, crafts, festivals, itineraries, and more, using multimedia like videos, images, and maps.

The 'Book Your Travel' feature enables users to book flights, hotels, cabs, buses, and monuments, making travel more accessible. An AI-powered chatbot provides real-time assistance. Additional features include weather updates, tour operator details, currency conversion, airport info, and visa guidance.

The Ministry of Tourism plans to further enhance the portal by integrating additional features, incorporating more content through crowdsourcing, and collaborating with various organizations to keep the portal as a dynamic source of inspiration for those exploring India. (ANI)
