PIGL Appointed for Power Supply System in Udaipur Airport Modernization

Power & Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited (PIGL), a major player in electrical contracting, has secured a key role in the power supply for the new Integrated Passenger Terminal Building at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur. This assignment from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) comes as part of a broader contract awarded to Nyati Engineers & Consultants Private Limited, the main contractor for the airport's modernization.
According to the contract, PIGL will handle the design, implementation, and commissioning of the power supply system, which includes power distribution, electrical substations, and energy management systems, all while adhering to safety standards. The new terminal, spanning 5,92,187 square feet, aims to increase capacity to 2,050 passengers and feature advanced facilities such as 4 aerobridges and 42 check-in counters. PIGL will ensure the terminal operates efficiently with a reliable power supply system.
This project marks a milestone for PIGL, showcasing their expertise in airport electrical infrastructure.
